About Me
I am an executive coach and transformational facilitator. You can read more about my experience and qualifications in my bio (below) and on LinkedIn.
My work in life is to nurture human connection: connection to our inner selves, to each other, and to a greater purpose. I fundamentally believe in people, in the value and potential we all carry inside of us, if only we can rediscover it, with self-compassion and joy.
Upholding this human potential can transform our organizations and our societies. Leadership development plays an essential role in shaping our collective future, including our stewardship of the environment and our path towards gender and racial equality. We need conscious leadership, now more than ever. You can read my professional manifesto here.
My life is defined by bridges (the metaphorical kind). I grew up in a small salt-mining town in Romania before moving to the US for my doctorate degree in organizational psychology and then to the UK in my late 20s. My family nowadays is a fusion of three different cultures. I sometimes say that I am “culturally confused;” but the more accurate description is, I belong not to a place, but to a bridge between places.
In practical terms, this experience has provided me with a lot of tolerance for complexity and a combination of compassion and radical candor with myself and with others. It takes courage and curiosity to live on a bridge. This has guided my work as a coach in more ways than one.
I am inspired by creativity, laughter, and stillness. And, like us all, I am always learning, making mistakes, and practicing something. I just hope to do it intentionally and mindfully.

Areas of expertise
I specialize in executive coaching and leadership development for blue-chip companies and select non-profits. For the past 15 years I have coached clients and facilitated workshops in North America, UK, Europe, and Asia, supporting leaders at their growth edge to anchor in their inner wisdom and fulfill their full potential.
My areas of expertise include:
- Personal leadership – helping leaders get in touch with their personal vision, values, and strengths
- Building emotional awareness and relational skill (e.g. conflict resolution, listening, communicating with impact)
- Developing presence and self-awareness through mindfulness and somatics
- Embodied leadership: using neuroscience and the wisdom of the body to recognize old patterns and create new habits
I am particularly passionate about helping organizations develop and retain women in key leadership positions and dedicated a part of my practice to supporting female executives to lead, succeed and thrive.

Background
I started my career 20 years ago designing and running training programs for volunteers in the U.S. Peace Corps to prepare them to live and work in a different culture. It was my first foray into the world of making the unconscious, conscious: when we become aware of the beliefs and mindsets through which we see the world, we have more space for choice and empathy. This approach still informs my coaching.
After spending time in Romania and the United States, I now live with my husband and two daughters in London, and we try to take any chance we can to travel around the world. I am a big fan of spending time with good friends (preferably over good food and good wine), listening to American and British pop music, and discovering London street art.
